Joining our knowledge on banknote security, we have developed and produced a new test note with a beautiful underwater theme. It combines the expertise of Polish Security Printing Works (PWPW) in banknote printing and special inks with the superior security stripe features from Hueck Folien.
The test note displays Hueck Folien’s Safe2® security stripe with colourful nano engineered optical structures. Dive into the details:
Safe2® - Perfectly registered Bi-Metal stripe
Safe2® precisely combines aluminum and copper. The metal elements are perfectly registered and feature nano engineered effects. A rainbow 3D bas-relief effect adds colour to the stripe depending on the incidence of light. As with all our metallisations, we also use high-purity recycled aluminum for Safe2®.
Banknote window
The Corals test note features a 15.0 mm stripe, applied over a transparent window by a Pasaban foil application machine. Inside the window a finely detailed coral is showcased using a white 3D bas-relief effect.
Multi-keyhole effect
The keyholes provide a deeper perspective on the flora and fauna of the underwater world. When the note is turned or tilted, seaweed, corals and rising air bubbles become visible in a three-dimensional way.
The entire banknote design – created and printed by the PWPW design studio – provides beautiful impressions of the underwater world: a lionfish surrounded by jellyfish and starfish, as well as moving seaweed and richly detailed corals.
